Assessments are performed on our stream systems to determine if there are any significant changes to the stream or its hydro-morphology. Some of the types of assessments we do are: Riparian Zone Assessment (RZA), Tree Assessment, Rapid Geomorphic Assessment (RGA), Rapid Stream Assessment (RSAT), Bank Data and Cross-Section Data. These assessments can be compared to historical assessments to determine if changes have occurred.
They are also used to determine future projects or activities the group may undertake, such as the Tree Assessment will indicate any blockages that may obstruct fish passage or obstruction to the trail from felled trees, or where future planting sites may be.

You can find all the assessments here Data Bank, then choose Survey & Assessments, then select the stream you would like to see Grant’s Brook, Brook’s River, Freeland Creek, Gains Creek, Foxley River West, Enmore River, McDonalds River, Bideford River
